For those of you who are new to my classes, My style of Kundalini yoga is called Kundalini-Naad Yoga. It is Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan with emphasis on the “Naad” or sound current. More on Yogi Bhajan
Kundalini Yoga is a Raj Yoga (royal unitive yoga) which may include up to 22 different facets of yoga in one single practice. The two facets of yoga that gives the experience of the sound current are Nada and Laya Yoga. Nada Yoga is the primal vibration and implements the discipline of all sound while Laya Yoga merges the finite self with the infinite self through the use of sound and mantra. When you merge with the infinite self you become what you vibrate-that is the “naam”.
Kundalini Naad Yoga is a householder’s yoga for living and succeeding into today’s complex world. Each class is very unique with specific results that can be obtained with regular participation. Through good nutrition, Kundalini-Naad yoga, and intentional meditation one increases their awareness and becomes positioned to reach their highest potential as a human being.
Each class you will experience a pranayam (breathing exercise), Kriya (set of postures), meditation(some include chanting) and a 15–20 minute live planetary gong bath relaxation to enhance healing and transformational power of the practice.
